Ahhh... the beginning. Watercolor has always intrigued me. Yet, I honestly struggled to create an image that matched what I envisioned! Here is my first portrayal of snow.

Ahhh... the beginning. Watercolor has always intrigued me. Yet, I honestly struggled to create an image that matched what I envisioned! Here is my first portrayal of snow.

When frosty winter bites your naked nose, retaliate with fiercely warmer clothes.

Snow nicely covers mountain peaks and front porches fresh, clean, and freezing.

Crystal cold, the winter days –
Creation breathing sighs –
Frosty, barren branches stretching
Into frozen skies –
Steamy fog arising from
A hibernating pond –
Silent white enveloping
The mountain tops beyond.
Temperatures have plummeted
To seventeen below,
Leaving earth invisible
Beneath resplendent snow.
